I know this is kind of a dumb question, but since there is no P.E. department at Princeton, what opportunities are there for students who want to have some sort of regular organized exercise? Other colleges with P.E. departments will have aerobics, gymnastics, fitness, weights, etc. as regular classes. What do P-ton students do (who don't belong to a sports team) but want to have regular exercise?

From the Student Guide:

The athletics department also runs approximately 150 physical education classes. Ranging from yoga and massage (no joke) to tae kwon do, rifle shooting, ethnic dance, and golf, these classes are open to interested undergraduates for a small fee. Sign up during September phys-ed registration in Dillon Gym.

The Stephens Fitness Center sports all the fitness training equipment you could desire. (It's wild to see people exercising madly at 10 p.m. -- but whatever floats your boat.)

there are lots of excercise classes, as well as sports lessons. I took a pilates class last year, and it was lots of fun. It was $40 for 13 classes, which seems pretty reasonable to me. They also have dance classes, yoga, aerobics, kickboxing, etc. Basically they seem to subsidize everything so whatever one lesson/class would cost, you get for the whole semester. For instance, they have golf lessons for something like $70. You can sign up online, if you look at the athletics website, the class listing may be already up.

You just don't get any credit for the classes tht you take

There's also dillon gym which is located right in the middle of campus (very useful) which has a fitness center with lots of machines, as well as a pool and also squash courts (you can borrow rackets and balls)

is there a membership fee for dillon gym?

no, its included in tuition/COA as long as youre an undergrad

There's also club sports.
