P.e.

I am a rising sophomore and P.E. is not one of my scheduled courses. However, I need two credits for P.E. to graduate. Is there typically any way to get P.E. credits without wasting space for my other academic courses? Any summer programs in Virginia?

I doubt it..............don't u have any credits for PE yet?

Nope, no credits. I was planning on getting them from varsity track, as my school had a program where they give you a credit for each varsity sport. But, they cancelled that right before I started my freshmen year and I didn't feel like changing my schedule.

I advice u to split ur two credits btw sopho/jun or jun/sen yr. Depending upon ur courseload. I'd definitely take a course like PE in my 2nd Semester of Senior Year if I have such an option! ;)

Actually, that second semester of senior year seems perfect for a credit. I didn't think of that!

Summer School P.E. got them done before 9th grade and 10th grade.
I play varsity tennis but its not honors and we dont have to take the class so i didnt waste space on it.

^Wait... Honors Varsity Tennis? I don't get it.

EDIT: Oh, wait, now I think that I do... our PE grades don't count towards our GPA, anyway, though...

wow. some schools just have messed up PE classes and requirements.. we need to do 4 years of PE and we dont have Honors Varsity ______. Lmao this is sad, like really...

Don't skimp out on PE. It's there for a reason. Too many ppl in the US are fat. Physical health is very important. And plus, who wouldn't want to play sports during school?

I don't know about your state, but in mine they actually offer P.E. through virtual (online) school! I found this out when my D did a class during the summer last year. I still cannot figure out how you take P.E. online though................

Take it at a community college in the evening. Sometimes, it is offered on Saturdays.

yeah athletics/PE are factored into our GPA. The varsity tennis class isnt honors so it would hurt my rank if I took it all four years. Our coach doesnt require us to take the class in order to play b/c alot of ppl care about gpa..
I wanted to take the class though, too bad it doesnt work like yalls :(

You know your school has sunk to a new low when gym classes are being offered as "honors" courses...

I was going to have to pick up two years of PE in my senior year (i was going to get a year of summer school, too, though), but luckily i got into my transfer school, and they don't require any more PE. :)

If you are in band, you might as take marching band in order to finish those pe credits.

I did P.E. online :}

Some schools allow you to exempt P.E. classes if you do something like 2 yrs of a varsity sport. See if your school has anything like that. By exempting, assuming your P.E. classes are not honors, you may be helping your GPA

this is really sad... as said no wonder americans are fat nowadays.
