P/NP question

I'm a CCC student applying for TAG to UCSD for enrollment in Fall 13.

I'm a CS major and in the process of getting IGETC certified.

This semester I'm taking four classes, two of which is from the IGETC curriculum and that I fear I may not get an A in. My question is would it be frowned upon to choose Pass/No Pass for both these classes to protect my GPA? I'm also applying to UCLA, would this hurt my chances there? I believe it may not be a problem for TAGing to UCSD but I'm more worried about what UCLA has to say.

Thank you.

Bump.

My college’s P/NP window closes tomorrow… can anyone answer?

Bump! Can someone answer, please? I have the same question for a math class (it’s not calculus or stats but it fulfills the math GE req).

@heezy: Which 2 classes were you thinking of taking P/NP?

It’s fine to take GE/IGETC for P/NP as long as you do not exceed 14 semester or 21 quarter units of P/NP.
