PA state colleges

What is the best PA state college for psychology majors? Does one college have more to offer over another even though they are all in the passhe system? My son is interested in majoring in psych and minor in criminology.

Do you mean the “directional” system of local public schools, equivalent for instance to Cal States? Those are the PASSHE schools. The best one is West Chester.
Or do you mean which of the Penn State campuses is the best one? In which case the answer is “University Park”.

I meant the best one for psychology in the passhe schools. What makes West Chester the best one?

The PASSHE schools aren’t top schools. They’re good schools for 2.5-2.9 students with SAT CRMW in the 1350-1600 range, and they’re a good price. They cover all the basics for most majors. What makes one stand out is the student quality relative to the others and WCU stands out for its students’ quality. It’s also the one with the best Honors Program.
In terms of variety of psychology classes, Bloomsburg and Kutztown should be okay.
For a good psychology program accessible to B students, look at Clark University in MA (run the Net Price Calculator), or check out Juniata’s. Apply early (October) for the best scholarships so take the SAT in June (or the September ACT).

I appreciate the info.!
