<p>In honor of one of our MT students getting cast in Hair on Broadway today (Cailan Rose, Class of '12) I wanted to post and update our success stories on a separate thread on this Pace board. As a very young program only its 8th year (4th graduating class), we are very proud of the rapid rate of success of our students! </p>

<p>Trey Compton ('07) is directing regional productions of Parade in Philadelphia and Speed the Plow in New Jersey.</p>

<p>The Director of the NY Philharmonic’s production of Stephen Sondheim’s “Company” (starring Neil Patrick Harris, Patti Lupone, Stephen Colbert)-- Lonny Price asked Amy Rogers, head of the Musical Theatre Program at Pace University, to provide him with 12 outstanding actors to learn the roles, record parts, perform in rehearsals with the celebrities, do the tech/dress rehearsals and the PBS staging rehearsal, and some had to perform for the Tony’s Dress Rehearsal.</p>

<p>CATHRYN SALAMONE is thrilled to be making her Off-Broadway debut in The Fantasticks. She is a recent graduate of Pace University’s BFA Musical Theatre program and an alumnus of the Classical Acting & Shakespeare semester at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Recent credits include “The Beauty Is” soloist at Adam Guettel In Concert (Schimmel Center, NYC), She Loves Me, Woyzeck (Pace), and Richard II, Hamlet (LAMDA). <p>MATT FARCHER (Chad) is beyond stoked to join the cast of DISASTER! Matt was last seen in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST as Gaston and “TREASURE ISLAND A NEW MUSICAL” at Arkansas rep. Other favorites include: myths and hymns (prospect theater), Floyd Collins (Homer) Oklahoma (curly) and South Pacific (cable). Matt studied BFA musical theater at Pace University. Thank you Seth, Jack, and the rest of the company and crew for believing in him and giving him a chance to join this Rediculous spectacle that is DISASTER!
