Pace University

Submitted a Binding Early Action in late August, was told I would get decision on or before Dec1. Letters went out over a week ago, and some people in my state have already received them. I have not, does this mean anything?

My D applied EA2 and her status says Decision Made and an official decision letter has been mailed. Do you see that status too? In previous CC posts, sounds like this was common last year and letters received mid Dec. Good luck!

My son applied EA and his portal said a decision has been made as well.

My daughter applied EA and received her decision by mail yesterday.12/1

@MomOf3DDs congrats to your daughter! Is Pace high in her list of schools? I hope my D hears soon so she can relax a bit. Pace is not her top choice but a school she would definitely consider. Was scholarship info included in the letter?

@pct3 @momofa12 Tried to access the portal but cant seem to find my username. Sent an email to admissions last evening but no reply yet! Thank you!

@MomOf3DDs do you live in a state close to the school? I am all the way in S. FL.

We are in NJ, so yes, we are close. Pace seems to be pretty high on her list. She was thrilled to have an acceptance under her belt. Scholarship information came along with the admissions, but not financial aid. She received the Honors College Scholarship for $19,000 and the Honors Opportunity Scholarship for $12,000. She is a little concerned about having to be in the honors program and it seems they are contingent on her participation in it.

I got my decision on 11/26. Accepted to Dyson for Bio

Congrats @pxlpfiction - where are you from?

My D was accepted! Pace is one of her top choices. She plans to major in psychology. I do have concerns regarding the plentiful negative reviews online. Does anyone have feedback on the school’s academics, internships and social life?

NJ! @pct3

@pct3
Don’t worry too much about the negatives. Its the individual that makes the difference, not the school.

I still have great memories about Pace, though I am retiring without the need of SS or life insurance. In my days, Pace will take any warm body, but I think it is a great school.

@artloversplus Thanks for your post. I agree that it’s up to the individual to succeed. Congrats on your retirement! My husband and I are hoping to get there once our youngest finishes college.

@pct3
Congrats that your D got so much scholarship. I think she will do well there. In my class the two got scholarships like your D were able to sail through Pace with straight As and got many good job offers upon graduation. Good luck for your D.

Got my acceptance letter today! Portal said “decision made” last week, and through a very long week of no mail, it finally arrived. Was awarded the Pace Incentive award for $19,500 each year! Still waiting for more acceptances to come in the mail, but am excited to be able to consider Pace!

Congrats to all who received the scholarships.

@MomOf3DDs Congrats to your D. Do you mind sharing your D’s stats? That is awesome with the 2 scholarships.

GPA UW 3.8 W 4.5
ACT 29
SAT (new) 1300

Sadly I don’t think she will be attending Pace. FDU will be about $11,000 cheaper per year and she will have the same access into the city that she wants.

Does anyone know if you can get a school on rolling admission
