Does anyone know if Pace University is generous with aid for their graduate programs specifically math education? Their website says it costs $763 per credit for graduate students. By generous, I mean I go for free or I pay ~$1000/semester.

yeah. pace are very generous with credits.
some students that cannot afford NYU usually go to Pace first and the transfer out later when they have the cash.
you should be fine.
at pace they give scholarships and offer financial aid. credits will definitely lower your tuition fee.

I wouldn’t judge Pace’s affordability for grad school by what it does for undergrads. It can be a totally different.

Schools don’t often give much (if any) financial aid to grad students. Instead, they can be big on merit to strong grad students, by giving assistantships and fellowships, etc. Also, some grad majors have more of these opportunities than others. Some grad majors offer little or nothing in the way of help and students must borrow or pay themselves.
