PACERS v. PISTONS

Breaking News from the Associated Press:

A Detroit television station (WDIV-TV) reported that Pacers forward Ron Artest will be suspended for 30 games while teammates Jermaine O'Neal and Stephen Jackson will sit out 20 games apiece. The station said Pistons center Ben Wallace will serve a five-game suspension.

actually artest is suspended for the rest of the season, jermaine got 25 games, and jackson got 30....I HATE DETROIT PISTONS AND ALL THEIR FANS

I'm so sorry nirvana, ugh i hate when this stuff happens cause it messes the whole playoff/championship outlook and you're left w/ what-if's and such

this was our year also

On Sunday the NBA handed out nine suspensions regarding Friday's brawl between the Pacers, Pistons, and Detroit fans. Ron Artest (season), Stephen Jackson (30 games), Jermaine O'Neal (25 games), and Ben Wallace (six games) received the stiffest sentences.

-correction 6 games not 5

wallace should have received a 150 game suspension since he started it. **** DAVID STERN. I HATE THAT *ER. * THE PISTONS

Seriously Nirvana, you're crazy. Wallace didn't make Artest go into the stands. It just goes to show what kind of person Artest is; he backs down against a person bigger, stronger, and faster than he is, but he can go in the stands and try to beat up someone half his size? He deserves to sit out the rest of the season.

David Stern is the man!

R.I.P. 2004-2005 Indiana Pacers.

The fans are positioned too close to the court.

Artest is faster than Wallace.

"R.I.P. 2004-2005 Indiana Pacers" - HAHAHAHA

You guys all suck. I have waited my entire life to see the Pacers win a world championship. This year was our year. I'm pouring out some liquor for artest.

lol

not this year pal

They had a better shot last year.
In fact, if they beat the pistons last year, they would have won the championship.

If Jermaine weren't injured last year, they would have won. With everyone back this year, we would have won also.

nirvanarageatm - get over yourself. pistons had rasheed injured, and they beat the favorite lakers. by the way - wallace may have started a small fight, fine. but you have to be a total idiot to charge into the crowds (the worst move an nba player could make.) if artest was normal, he would have complained to security, a ref, the other team, anything. but going into a crowd to beat up random people (no more than one could possibly have thrown the beer at him) is just childish and idiotic. artest deserves what he got. BTW - reasoning like "if wallace didnt respond to the fould, it wouldnt have started" is stupid, since if artest hadnt done the hard foul, it wouldnt have started either. conclusion: artest is at fault.

OK. You are obviously naiive. Rasheed could still play, whereas jermaine could barely walk. I saw him in person the day after game 6 of the easter conference finals, and he was limping worse than I have seen anyone limp before. Detroit is a trashy city, and it earns its place as America's trash heap. In fact, the whole state of Michigan except for Ann Arbor sucks...(Proposition 2 passes with 70%...WTF?????) Lastly, it Was Hardly Even A Foul---totally Non Flagrant
Ron Artest Is A Political Prisoner. Free Ron Artest!!!!!

Free him? Is he in jail?

BTW, Hardly even a foul.... I'd like to see what you would have to say if he fouled you like that.

He was imprisoned by the fascist tyranny of that fat ****er david stern
