if the package is already at the airport of my country...that means I'll probably get it tomorrow right?

Lol this is stupid, guys. Don't jump to conclusions

i had already got an email that they would UPS me.. they wanted my street address as "UPS can not deliver on post box" .. so, i knew that it will UPS me since 12th...but, i dont think UPS = acceptance..i hope though..
but i think 650 UPS = acceptance...

best case scenario- i get that 650 UPS package..
worst case scenario - i get UPS (i am quite sure of it ..due to that email) but i get deferred and someone else from nepal (there are 5)gets that 650 UPS package

are all of them from kathmandu? in your same pincode?

does anyone know if there is something like a reference number that ppl in the us can use to see if they have a package?

Isn't there a package for India that originated from Hamilton, NJ? Spacepirate?

I didn't get a package either :(

yah all are from kathmandu..and we don't have pincode...was it mentioned there??

ok i just asked my friend who applied to 13 unis last year.. his harvard early deferral didn't come with ups express, but all of his RD acceptances. he says he's 100 % sure they wouldn't waste money on deferrals and rejections through ups... it hasn't been like this, never... however, this is very surreal and I'm basically keeping the thought on distance

yeah.. you can mention the pin code and see if its for you

oasis- there is one, but that is not where i live :(

im literally crying

spacepirate, stop it! no conclusions, please!

My friend told me to not despair because for the last three years all of the people at my school got it through FedEx. But I don't think pton would UPS everyone else and FedEx the people in Taiwan -- that's ridiculous. Oh wellll--this is a better way to deal with a deferral than having it pop out in my email indox, I suppose.

phillyland: its ridiculous not to come to a conclusion.. its almost obvious.

my dad and mom have given me a big hug and i've stopped crying now.

Last year, Princeton sent its acceptance letters to Korean applicants through FedEx. So, don't be too discouraged if UPS doesn't give you the magical words. In some countries, like Korea and Taiwan, UPS isn't so well-known, hence explaining why FedEx could be used instead to guarantee rapid deliveries.

Spacepirate, I'm really with ya. Here, hugs.

I don't know...as they say, it isn't over till the fat lady sings. Both of us might still have a chance. But this really prepared me for the "possible" deferral letter tomorrow.

Pton decisions are just starting to loom up bigger than reality...=/

Good night spacepirate, get some sleep!

yes, i think it would be best if we just waited until tomorrow before drawing any conclusions... :)

thanks for the hope!

Uh..oh...but there's also a couple of packages headed for Korea.

Hahaha. Whatever. Nights everyone.

I'm over it.

gnite oasis. love ya

how many in Korea got it?

aye space...

no reason for crying here... except for crying of joy.

See it from this point of view: Princeton is a great university, no doubt - but there is no way you could be anything else than successful in your former life even if you are rejected RD.

Look at what you have accomplished during the last 12 years. Get yourself a good beer, have a good night and see life from the bright side.

Oh and yes: I won't receive a package either.
