pain in the patoot chances thread

Yo, so I hate to do these (yeah, yeah, says the audience, get on with it), but I'm really unclear on exactly what Wisconsin's admissions yesses and nos are...if you could please, chances with app completed last week and these stats:

GPA: ~3.35 (mad hard coursework/school though, and transcript and school profile will reflect that)
SAT: 730v/680m/730w
SATIIs: 800 literature, 750 US history, 650 mathI
APs: French language 3, English comp 4, US history 5
ACT: 33
all coursework at honors or AP level when possible

editor of literary magazine
"ringleader" of poetry club
costume designer for drama
school admissions tour guide
church youth group/sunday school teacher
president of Young Democrats

I'm out of state, and white, and female.

I think you have a very good chance.. I have a 3.4 GPA and a 31 ACT and good EC's.. I'm instate though. The people on here say I have a good chance, so I'd assume you would too.. Good luck!!

Good to very good chance given your standardized test scores. If your B+ GPA is a result of overcommitment, e.g. taking too many challenging classes, try to touch on that lightly in your essay. Ideally, you should come across as someone who always work for challenges rather over score quick wins.
