<p>I agree about Eckerd having a resort feel, but during our visit to Stetson I didn't get that feeling. I can't remember seeing a single palm tree there. Stetson has a nice campus, but it reminded me of a southern plantation. Lots of big moss filled trees, large oaks and weeping willows. JMHO...</p>
<p>FIT has palm trees. New College of Florida would be another resort feeling school.</p>
