Pamper your cadet

I received the following information on the yahoo 2012 parents group. I know my cadet will enjoy a little pampering. I called immediately and bought her a gift certificate. At parents weekend they will have a booth and you can purchase two $25 gift certificates and receive a $5 coupon for services.

I wanna be a cadet! That sounds great. My boys are just liking not having hair!

Don't forget the 20 min massages for $7

Obviously, I am in the wrong profession. Motherhood just isn't paying!

You and your daughter should find a Day Spa and treat yourselves!!!

all in the name of B & S! ;)

I asked Potter about this a few times last year. Now she was not the most adventerous or outgoing 4 degree. In fact timid barely scratches the surface. She didn't want to bother going down to the salonbecuase she didn't want to deal with upperclassmen on the way. You might get a different assesment of the services from redhead ur blackhead now I guess.

Lil Sis did get a new "do" yesterday and was trying to talk me into a full spa treatment. So far, I'm saving my money. haha

That is such a great service, especially for the female cadets. I guess they don't always get to feel too feminine.

i saw all that stuff bein advertised when we were in line for our haircuts comin out of Jack's. One of our flight NCOs got a kick outta it :) we begged him to let us get somethin done.. lol good times

Ew! You can't call me blackhead! First of all my hair is currently a reddish brown, and secondly, it will be back to normal very soon. :)

My roommate's mom bought the 4 dig girls in our squad tickets for a back and neck massage, but as 4 degrees we never actually found the time to redeem the coupons. We all felt kind of awkward going down there in uniform. But that was just us. And manicures/pedicures might be different!

OK no more blackhead....over the summer I took potter and her little sister to a highend vegas hair place (I just go to the BX and pay the 8.95). Cost me 140.00 for her little sister to from blonde to red. I'm still uneasy everytime I see the red hair, but it does fit her personality.

Resist the temptation to go gold Redhead.

Fencerssister, after years of begging, went red last year and it fit her perfectly! She is now back to "tan" hair but is planning a return to red for PW, when we visit. Fencersmother and fencersfather are nervous!

Buckaroo never did much to her hair but her sister has enjoyed being out of HS so she can do her hair any color she wants. Yesterday she cut it shorter than she has had it since she was 2 or 3 and it has bright red (crayola red not redhead red) streaks and it looks pretty good.
Buckaroo and the other females from C-flight have already been talking about what they want to get at the salon.

We sure have. I don't know when we'll find the time though... maybe a free period before my work load gets too heavy, but it pretty much gets heavy immediately, so who knows. I'm excited to go when I can though! I want to be a girl again!

LOL! MissMuff feels the same way. First thing she did this afternoon when Dad delivered the goodies was put on earrings and makeup. I had some certificated delivered, too. Hope you girls can get to the Salon soon.

i can take care of my hair and nails...maybe i'll make them do my feet :P

jack's reaaaaaaaaally messes 'em up!

I gave my D a bunch of those gift certs for her B-Day (hair wash, trim, pedicure, manicure, massage...). She was never able to use any of them and they expired. They need to make an appointment ahead of time, can't just drop in. She tried several times and never could go because her schedule was not open when they had time. In fact, this summer they got down right rude to her when she was trying to use them (for around the 8th time since she got them in November) it was a week or two before expiration and they just would not let her go anytime. At one point she was there in person trying to make an appt and all times were full but no one was around at that moment. She asked, "how about now?", nope, they must be by appointment only even though they were open at that time..... She told me not to do it this year. Instead she'll have better luck just borrowing a car and heading to C-Springs with a friend some day.... So, that's what we are doing this year. She felt badly at the wasted money but I believe she made a very good effort to get the time to use them but it just didn't work. At least one of them she gave to a friend as a birth day gift, and the friend ended up not able to use it too.
