The national zoo in DC has a baby panda that finally lived beyond a week, now they are holding a naming contest. The problem is that they only give you five choices and they are all Chinese names that no American kid can pronounce. What's wrong with a good American name like Bill the Panda or Randy the Panda? Its also the same with these zoos when they get a new lion or tiger cub, they name it some African name that noone cares about. We need to start naming these baby animals American names now!

My favorite name (for anything lol) is Andariel!! (from Diablo)

i name lots of things (i.e. stuffed animals, calculators, various inanimate objects) Bob, Harry Potter, and Timmy

I like Tim-Bob the Panda

I like...Stacey. Yes, it should be named after me. Stacey the Panda. Booyeah :D

My future's dog's name is gonna be Marshmellow.. I've always liked how that little boy from Malcolm in the Middle named his dog Marshmellow.. (or was it a rabbit? or a guinea pig? cant remember) and I thought it was very cute!
So although marshmellow doesn't really match a panda.. i'll go for marshmellow anyway.. or a half burnt marshmellow..?

Ok so marshmellow doesn't seem like the right spelling,.
Maybe it's marshmello.. i dunno

marshmallow :D

I think ^ would be a good choice too. Either that or "College Confidential" Panda has a good ring to it too. Just kidding.

Marshmallow does sound good...

:)

how about just "panda"

Panda the panda. So much for creativity. :)

How about Brokenhead Bangshield?

Joe Randa The Smiling Panda.

Here are the official baby panda name choices:
