Panic Mode

I was recently accepted into UVa A&S as a transfer student. I applied as a third year transfer student, however, when I viewed my housing offer yesterday they identified me as a second year student.

I'm worried because I already registered for the third year summer orientation on July 21st and my family has travel plans to go to Florida that night and changed my plane ticket so that I could take a plane out of Charlottesville to Florida that night. I also don't want to be in a bind and unable to register for classes.

Am I worrying over nothing? I'm hoping this is just because UVa hasn't received my official transcript over SSP yet. I sent them an e-mail explaining all this.

2nd or 3rd year doesn’t matter with regards to housing (it is all just upperclass)… You should be able to sort out anything when you get there.

Mine is coming up the same, and I’m a third year transfer, as well.
A friend of mine has the same problem. I contacted housing a while ago, and they said something to the effect of, “it doesn’t matter - upperclass is upperclass - everything will be sorted out when your credit is evaluated”

:)
