Panic?

Hi
I just started prepping for the June ACT. I started With the red book. It didn't have much info on prep. So I started with a practice test. I got a 27 on my first try. Should I panic. Or am I stupid and should simply study. I mean it was no prep, straight practice test. I do plan to study the PR book, Math tips book, reading and English tips, Barron's Workbooks and Barron's 36...
I feel both scared and stupid asking this question but I'm serious.

You should feel stupid about asking this question and hit the books.

For reference: I got a 30 on my first practice test cold and got a 36 on the real thing.

Agree with the above poster.

Asking people to judge you is not the best way to go about improving yourself.

I do get it. Thanks for the wake up call.
Let the prep begin

A 27 is a good starting place!! With some prep on ACT test skills as well as brushing up on the subjects I bet you will see a good increase on the actual ACT.

I think you should be thrilled with a 27 on your first practice test. That is well above the national average score.
