Sorry to inform you that we will strip applications of any special binding -- we remove staples -- we remove paper clips. Applications are not bound when they are put in the application folders and passed to the counselors for evaluation. So don't waste the cost on fancy binding, we will never see it.

AdmissionsDaniel, Do you recommend that I write my social security number and my full name on the envelope when I mail it to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions?

DO NOT WRITE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER ON THE ENVELOPE. Your SSN is not supposed to be public knowledge. Think identity theft, and such.

Having your name on the envelope might help though. It'd be even more important to have your name and birthdate on each and every piece of paper you send in though. That way it doesn't get lost if it's misplaced.

No you should not include your SS# on the envelope because it should not be public knowledge, and also we do not use SS# to track applications. You may include your name on the enevelope but what is written on the envelopes are ignored.

Do take redcrosseknight's advice and include your name, birth date, and high school on all documents your are sending in. That will make sure everything gets processed correctly.

AdmissionsDaniel, you are a tremendous help! I have been getting so much help from you on various topics. Thank you so very much for spending the time with us in this forum.
