Hello everybody,
I would like to take the paper-based version of the test, but this option is only offered at a very small number of test centers in the US. I'm trying to register online, but for that I need to know the test center number in advance (there is no drop-down menu to choose from). So I'm trying to find someone who knows the number, name or address of a test center ANYWHERE in the US that still administers the paper-based version of the GRE general test. Thank you very much in advance.

This PDF at ETS has the US paper test centers:

why dont you want to take the computer one? its so much easier to do, you get your scores immediately after you click 'finish,' and you can easily edit/correct your essays

I can see where he is coming from. It is very difficult for me to guage how fast I should be going and since I don't have the option of going back to fix stuff a paper version would be better because I could use up all my time to take it and check answers. (Maybe I am just ocd about it though.)

I took both, the paper test is easier for me, but i studied more the second time and did better on the CAT.

YES. They have one in my own city.

I am super ld in math and there is no way in heck I would ever do math on a computer! It would mess me up.

But, you totally would have to wait weeks and weeks to get your test results if you do the paper test, eh? How long would the wait be?

i think its crazy how you cant check your answers on the computerized version, i understand the scoring system, but...it kinda sucks

yeah but you can get higher scores on the computer because as you answer questions right, they get harder, and the harder questions are worth more points

i just have a fear of accidentally omitting an answer. Like you think you checked it, but...computers can be odd sometimes
