So...I'm taking toefl tomorrow. Whish me luck! :)
I wasn't really preparing, though :(, kind of thought it was much easier than the sat. I'm just worrying about the essay, how long is it supposed to be? I didn't get to see any essays, so I'm freaking out about not having enaugh time and all... Just hope it's not supposed to be something like the one for the sat, which went horribly (still waiting for the results... Monday...Monday...).
Anyway, what is considered as a good score? Most of the Ivy & other top colleges require 600, but I think is about 550 for MIT...
Anybody here took paper based toefl?

I took it. It's such a stupid test, you can predict everything. The day I took it I woke up very early (cause had to travel) and was bored, couldn't understand the listening at all and just guessed. And I scored 663. Don't be scared.

600 is the MINIMUM score, not a "good" score. It's not that hard to score 600 or more. You may also consider that as a "passing" score ... and all you have to do is pass the minimum. After that they will look at your SAT verbal. Thus scoring higher than the minimum on TOEFL won't help much.

yeah...thanx guys... so I'm off to the test center now...
