Paper or Net?

Which would be better, submitting an application online or by mail? I've started some of the online application but I also requested a application for mail

they prefer online.. but if you are doing paper its better to type them than to write becuase its easier ot read that way. onlin app has its down side like not being able to fit anything

they will scan it and upload the docs to the server if you do the paper version.

Admission officers are not really given option to read it on paper. some asked if they can print out the docs and read it on paper, but they were denied. ALL read them on a computer. *this came straight out of undergrad admission center at columbia college and SEAS.

Apply online.

This is correct. The Columbia admissions office is entirely paperless. There are no "files." Everything is electronic.
