Paper or online?

I'm applying to NYU ED and I'm debating whether I should do it online or by paper. I'm also applying to Tisch for film so I'll need to send in a whole bunch of other stuff by paper. I'm thinking it'd be easier to just send it all in at once instead of just mailing stuff seperately, but I also have terrible handwriting and I'm afraid that will on some level affect the admissions process. Also, online would be quicker.

I would do it via paper (MY handwriting doesnt suck lol) i think its a little more personal and shows a little more care that way. But to my top choice school yesterday i recieved an email and since i was one of the first 100 to "request more info" for admission to fall of 07 i was given an admission fee waiver code (FRREEEEBEEEEE!) so in that case i opted for the online option.

Sorry but as the new, just-elected-today eco club president, I have to say that 1) writing things out does not give you an advantage by making the app more "personal" and 2) online is SOOOO easy; there's obviously so much less paperwork and handwriting isn't a problem. 3) essays are so much easier to be able to be done on a computer and then tweaked a million times before they're sent off in the online app. And technically you have extra time to finish apps, even though you should not procrastinate!
I would say definitely do online and dont be like so many others who are just raking in trees. Recycle.

OK sorry but my shpeal is over. Good luck and do it online please!

Then again, it could look strange if you write lengthy essays about your heavily-developed passion for programming etc. and then go fetch your pencil and paper for the application. Not that that would necessarily be a bad thing, just typing tends to be more efficient.

It's hard to predict these rather arbitrary effects. College advisers tend to say go with paper, so if you're really concerned that's probably the better choice.

Some colleges specifically require online application, I guess it makes their life easier because of the readability. If the colleges don't explicitly require online, I'd send paper application because my handwriting is AWESOME!!!!!
