Paranoia

In light of this likely letter, i have this sudden onset of paranoia

I do IB and I'm totally afraid that I'll get sick in May and mess up my exams!!!! Will I get kicked out if my IB results come in and they're not as good as they had been predicted when I sent in my application and Mid year report? Would Yale understand if I explained to them that I was sick or w/e and thus my performance on my IB exams (which determine like my entire IB grade) wasn't as good as I normally am? I'm talking about being predicted a 44 and getting like... a 39/40

Chill. Unless you royally screw up, you're safe.

Just because you are paranoid, it does not mean that they are not out to get you. Be afraid...be very afraid...

Just calm down man. The adcoms are people and they're not going to kick you out if you've got a good reason. You were likely accepted, they have to be very sure about their decision in order to do so; plus, i heard Ib scores don't come out until July or something, isn't that too late or something?

Either way, chill.

Yes -- relax. Enjoy your senior year. But not too much. After I got admitted (I'm an alum), I hit an energy let down. I continued to crank out my final HS classes (got all As for only the second time) but didn't enroll for any of the FIVE AP exams I was eligible to take. I took NONE my senior year -- what a dope I was!

But it didn't affect a single thing with my admission to Yale. Just don't commit any felonies or flunk out or publish a novel with "lifted" phrases! LOL

You got a likely! They won't drop you. :p
