Paranoid about unit count and AP credits...

In my TAGs and UC application I planned to have exactly 90 quarter units completed at my CC by the end of Spring 2011.
In addition to these units, I also have AP credit from 2 AP tests.

My question is, if I decide not to take a 1 unit class I planned for Spring, my TAGs and application won't be in jeopardy, right?
I will include this information in the UC transfer update that I will resubmit ( I already submitted it...)

With the AP credit I will still have over 100 quarter units at the end of Spring, even if i don't take the PE class.

Am i good to go if I simply tell the UCs about not taking the class in the transfer app? APs really do count towards the 90 unit minimum, right?

I'm probably just being really paranoid but I don't want to have my admissions denied because of something like this...

Anyone???

yeah APs count lol buuutt i didnt know that PE classes were even transferable?!? alsooo idk if you know this or not but i think they only give credit for 4s or 5s. so if you have them, i think youre good to go.

Yeah, I have 4 on one of them… But what about 3’s??? I thought you get credit for all AP tests passed with 3, 4 and 5. I’m even using my 3 for the IGETC.

yeah see i was reallyy confused about that too. i THINK they let you use your 3 for igetc classes (i used my 3 for ewrt1a) but UCs generallyy dont take 3s otherwise…
i could be horrendously wrong though, but i went through this whole drama trying to figure out if my 3 was going to be accepted for igetc and the berk lady said it was okay in lieu of a class but NOT for unit credit.
so. ask?

I found this at the UC website:
“UC grants credit for all College Board Advanced Placement tests on which a student scores 3 or higher. The credit toward graduation may get specific subject credit and/or credit toward general education/breadth requirements, as determined by evaluators at each campus.”

I think this means that we do get credit for our threes!

LOL @ 90qtr units. Im in the same boat, I will have EXACTLY 60 semester units by the end of spring. I have nightmares that Ill have 59 units or something lol…so I get my transcripts and count.

Yeah, I wanted to have exactly 90 without my APs so there wouldn’t be any misunderstandings about me being over the 90 unit minimum.
