Pardee Tower

Hey

I just got my housing assignment (Spring) and was placed in Pardee Tower. I was just wondering how is the social life and are the facilities good?

Thanks

Pardee is a good dorm, and you're really lucky to be able to get there as a spring applicant! Most get placed in apartments, the Radisson, or other less-dormish places.

Pardee is an averagely social dorm. Definitely not as social as New/North, but more social than the Radisson, honors dorms, Parkside, etc.

I don't know much about the facilities (like bathrooms) since I never lived there, but I'm sure they're just average dorm quality. The rooms are basically the same size as the other dorms on campus. The floors are single-sex.

Thanks for the info! I was planning on trying to get re-assigned to New/North, but I guess Pardee sounds great too!

If you want a really social dorm, then you should definitely at least try for New/North (doesn't guarantee you'll get in there), but if you're OK with a non-24-hour social atmosphere, than Pardee would be fine for you.

It also depends on your floor...there are some really, really social floors in pardee and marks, and some quieter floors in new/north. It all depends really. Just be glad you got in a dorm at all, and not a really dull place like Century.
