Parent no longer working there- can I still receive corporate scholarship?

Hello all! I received a letter in the mail today saying I was the recipient of a one-time corporate-sponsored National Merit Scholarship. However, my step-father found another job in January...would I still be eligible to receive the $2500 scholarship? Thanks in advance!

My D also has a corporate award, and the wording, I think in the application we had to file with the employer, stated that the parent had to be employed with the company at time of matriculation. So for our award, I understood that to mean we would lose it if husband left company before D starts school in September.

Call National Merit Scholarship Corporation, they administer the awards and should be able to tell you. I’ve had a couple of questions and they’ve been very helpful.
