i know im not the only one out there with this problem but i just wanna see wat other ppl ahve to say.

who else is sick of parents saying study for the SAT and then when you dont get a good grade that u dint study hard enuff. this ****es me off particularily because i never miss more than a handful of questions per section and the scale screws me over. so missing 4 and getting a 700 makes me a lazy ass for not studying -_- i wish they understood that the SAT is so subjectively graded its ridiculous. theres almost no shred of consistency in that test especially now with the new test.

ne one else with thoughts?

i got my scores today and i haven't told my parents yet. oh well, i just need to pick a moment (i.e., christmas time, after i've won the nobel prize, etc).

How can multiple choice be graded subjectively?

well if the machine doesn't like the way you bubble in the circle..

Yeah, the only SUBJECTIVE part is the essay. If you didn't do well on the other parts of the test, you're SOL. That is your fault, not some ominous grader.

My parents are no pressure about this - they didn't want me to retake after the first time and thought my score was good enough. They don't pressure me to study for it (hardly did) and were incredibly happy when I got my 1600 (CR+M).

whose parents wouldn't be happy with a 1600 ? :]
