<p>For FAFSA if you live with them both then the one providing the most support is the one you are supposed to report on FAFSA. It makes no difference who claimed you as a dependent on taxes.</p>

If you did not live with one parent more than the other, give
answers about the parent who provided more financial support during the 12 months preceding the date you complete the FAFSA, or during the most recent year that you actually received support from a parent.
