<p>Um yeah Im sure that does help, not sure its a guarentee but it can't really hurt. Colleges like Emory have a program for children of faculty in which they recieve additional financial aid, and other benefits. So that may help.</p>
<p>As for legacy it depends on the college. But for most I believe it is immediate family like mother, father, sister, and broter. They may consider grandparents, and I know people who are triple legacies which is cool, their parent, and grandparents, and siblings attended that particular college.</p>
