Parent's college with admission?

<p>My father attended college, but did not graduate. Most colleges ask what college your parents graduated from if any, if I put down none for my dad could this help me?</p>

<p>It is simple to list this, here’s an example:
UCLA, 1980-1982, did not graduate.</p>

<p>For the CA, it asks for the college your parent attended, degree earned and year of degree. You would put down the college, but leave degree and year blank. </p>

<p>The college(s) you apply to will determine if they consider you first gen or not.</p>
