Parents: Could you please make some suggestions?

I'd like to reiterate Muhlenberg. My daughter is a freshman there, and according to her, almost everyone she's met (outside of theatre where she's majoring) seems to be pre-med. The individual attention is awesome.

Best bets for Muhlenberg are applying EA from what I hear. My daughter applied RD, but had stats a tad bit higher than you, and different kinds of ECs, but enough. She was a National Merit finalist, and had a 35 on her ACT. She also had five APs by senior year, but did not take SATIIs. Of the three scholarships she got, two were academic based merit, and one was talent based; the two academic-based ones added up to $16,500/year.

Oh, another big plus about Muhlenberg - it has a brand spanking new science wing (which my performing daughter may never see the inside of which distresses her Ph.D. chemist father). I'd visit the school just to check it out.

What, you've already researched the thirty or so suggestions you've gotten, and none of them match your needs?

I never said that none of the schools match my needs. I've already added some great schools I would have never had on my list--for example, Goucher.

Franklin and Marshall is historically very strong in the sciences. Some great new dorms and other buildings.

Lafayette has a neuroscience major, as well as biology. My son just started there and is happy so far, the people are really nice. If you go to the "colleges" forum and click on L for Lafayette, there's a student named Justin (aka Candyman) who interns in admissions and is happy to answer questions. (Don't assume that because you've seen Lehigh you know Lafayette, the two schools have a different feel to them and Lafayette is smaller with no grad students. Not to mention they're arch-rivals.)

I second looking at Union as well, they are slightly less competitive for general admission, but have a very selective program which allows you to go straight from Union to University of Albany medical school and I think saves you a year in the process.
