I was just wondering what anyone's thoughts are about bringing my 13 year old son to parents/family weekend. I think it would be nice for him to see his sister but I am afraid he might be bored and other than the football game, not very interested in the programs/events planned. Does anyone know if there is anything planned that is geared toward younger siblings? Any advice/comments would be appreciated.

He might like the ghost tour, which is held in the evening. If you’d like to go, get your tickets, which are free, as soon as they are available. They go fast!

We loved dinner in the field house before the game. The UD cheerleaders performed and were spectacular! A 13 year-old would certainly enjoy them, and the dinner too. Actually, there is so much going on over parent weekend that I think a 13 year-old sibling will be entertained just watching it all unfold.

BTW…ditto mattmoose sentiment on the ghost tour.

thank you so much. We will definitely bring him. I just wanted to make sure that it was not just “parent” oriented. It sounds like there will be plenty for him to do and right up his alley! I am getting excited and D is not even there yet!

when does the ghost tour become available for signing up?
