Parents have weird education levels...

Okay, so apparently one of my parents never never got a bachelor's degree.

But he does have the equivalent of a master's degree and then a PhD (not sure how this was even possible, but who knows how much things were messed up in China back in the days...)

So, on the common app, what should I list his college experience? Obviously, while he never got a 4 year undergraduate degree, he went way beyond and I wouldn't be considered first gen anyway. Should I just list a bachelor's from the uni where he got his master's?

Weird, I know. But I'm pretty certain this isn't all that rare...

That's not too unusual, since many professionals, like pharmacists, end up with a degree in their field that is higher than a bachelor's. Just list the degrees he has, from where, and what year.
