<p>@pepper03 my D tells her dad and mom that their will always be a room sit aside for her parents in what ever facility she may be running. I have requested my own Bathroom. </p>
<p>Honestly if you could see my D with the elderly it would make your heart melt. She truly loves this group of people. She has said on many occasions that she loves hearing about their past and how much knowledge she gets from listening to them. I just wish she would listen to me also

<p>I am sure it would. My daughter has told me I get one move! We have had to move my mother more times than I can remember my father only a couple of times to go along with her. They went into Assisted living maybe 6 or 7 years ago because my father needed it-my mother was still working when they moved in. He ended up doing much better until he passed away in January while she has had lots of issues-I wish more than anything I could just bring her home with me but it isnât that simple.</p>
<p>OK enough about that-just let your daughter know how important her work is and if she has it in her it is truly a gift. :)</p>

<p>BHM I sure hope we are finished by Christmas for decisions. I am just happy that she has decided that school is for her and she is controlling the process.</p>
<p>BHG submitted her first application to KU on Wednesday, and hope to hear from them no latter than Wednesday. Yu self-report at KU. A certified transcript is due by July 2015 for all of high school. KU is one of BHGâs academic and financial sure bets. I posted back in 2013 why she liked KU.</p>
<p>For people whose kids may be taking calculus their senior year, my sister gave me a new website. <a href=âhttp://www.expii.comâ>www.expii.com</a> to explore. It has geometry and calculus on it (so if you have a child whoâs interested in geometry, this may be good for them as well) . The site is adding more topics. </p>
<p>If your child has already taken geometry and/or calculus, they can still join because the site is looking for people to add to their body of knowledge. Itâs sort of like crowdsourcing oneâs education. If you have a question about a topic, ask. If you have an answer, reply. If you have an idea, give it. <p>We should hear back from her top choice by the End of this month or the beginning of August. Fingers cross this is her reach but it is rolling admission; it has the top program in the nation next to USC.</p>
<p>Congrats @kmanshouse! Feels good to have the first one completed. D is working on the Iowa State app but she is uncertain about her rank and they wonât let you go forward without so she is emailing her GC to see if she can get an answer. Doubtful, but we will see.</p>

<p>Good luck @ILMom13579 and @SlackerMomMD !! Yes, itâs nice to have that monkey off the back. Still would really like him to get one more point on the ACT to save us $4000/year. So he will be taking the ACT in September. But he will go to BGSU regardless.</p>
<p>My other twin will be applying to his schools later in the summer/early fall. We are hoping to have that one figured out by sometime in October, so for Christmas we can get them a bunch of gear from their schools!</p>

<p>@kmanshouse - if your school definitely does not rank you can indicate that but you have to be ABSOLUTELY certain because they will pull your acceptance (IA Stateâs words not mine) if they discover you were ranked and didnât report it.</p>
<p>Iâm like you kmanshouse - it isnât going to matter at some of the other schools, but sheâd jump up another $3000 in merit money at Murray State if she got one more point. To go or not to go, that is the question - it will âtechnicallyâ be her 4th go-round; she took a free one at the local library a year ago and 2 official ones. She does great on all the sections except Geometry - she had a terrible teacher that year and I canât seem to get her to review anything to bone up just on that one section - just a point up might do itâŠugh.</p>
<p>BHG received her first acceptance to KU this weekâone down & 9 more to go. Even though KU is one of her sure bet schools, the knowledge that she is attending college in the fall, takes a little of the âedgeâ off the whole worrisome process. </p>
<p>Congratulations BunHeadMom!! Looks like all your hard work is starting to pay off. Iâm envious of everyone who has at least one acceptance now. </p>

<p>Havenât been here in awhile. Congrats to all the acceptances already! How does you HS handle that? We could go ahead and apply to one online, but our HS makes us give paper copies of the online app we filled out, some other forms and $1 for each school applied to. then they send the school the studentâs transcript and they wonât start doing that until August 21stâŠeven though school starts August 4th. I was wondering how you are getting acceptanced already.</p>
