<p>For the 2012-2013 year I posted about $3500. in U.S. Income Tax paid and I was suppose to write "0". When I correct the FAFSA will it reduce the amount of aid or increase it.</p>

<p>If you said your parents paid tax that they did not pay, when you correct it, that will probably increase your EFC and decrease your aid.</p>

<p>It depends on how much they made.</p>
