I appreciate the info Dogwood and bluebayou. I think I’ll start a small notebook with the advice from the veterans. I’m sure I’ll be looking for more as this is my first send off.

bluebayou - Do you know if you can tailgate on the Brighton campus, or is it just used for parking? Also, do you need to register to use that lot? It would be nice to be able to park near/on campus once for a game.

^^sorry, I don’t know about tailgating. Parking on Brighton campus is just for the weekdays. You will receive driving/parking instructions when you register for events.

But rest assured, you will not be able to park anywhere near campus on game day unless you are a season ticket holder.

Thanks bluebayou! I was hoping parking would be provided on the game day as well, but I should have know better! H and I just can’t part with the money to pay for a parking spot on campus during football games, so I guess the T continues to be our friend:)

BC does have a couple of remote lots for parking on game day, with shuttle busses to the stadium.

Saw that the 2013 football tickets are for sale already. However, on the BC Parent’s Weekend 2013 webpage, it said individual tickets go on sale in June. I’m wondering if perhaps they send out some sort of promo code discount or something so it would be beneficial to wait on purchasing tickets? (I did read in a previous post that incoming freshman will receive some sort of code in June to be able to purchase student tickets.) Anyone know the football ticket process as it pertains to parent’s weekend? Thanks!

My BC football game parking “secret” is to park for free at the Chestnut Hill Mall and walk 15 minutes to campus. Lots of people do it and sometimes the mall people are patrolling the parking lot telling people not to do it but I just park, walk into the Star Market grocery store, buy a drink or something small to snack and then walk out a different door looking like a normal shopper and then I walk to the game.
