You can look online at the stadium chart to see the sections.

http://grfx.cstv.com/schools/alab/tickets/seating-charts/2010-bds-seating-gates-with-legend.jpg

The student section is mostly near the field and part of the new addition on the south side. Parents are often seated in the upper decks on the north-east side and the north end.

We got out tickets, too. :)

We got our tickets also. Section NN-7 Row 10. RTR! :-)

Yea, John, we’ll be sort of near each other!

The seating charts do not show maximum number of rows, so was wondering how close to the top Row 19 will be!

Don’t know if we should start another thread or continue on this thread, but can some of you upperclass moms give us parking tips?

I’ve gone to the Gameday site, but I’m confused as to whether we can park on campus or not without a season parking pass.

And ours arrived too DH & I are excited; D2 just realized that she’s expected to go to the game…

^^^

She doesn’t want to?

Well, if she’s never been to a Crimson Tide football game she’s in for a day of fun and excitement. I remember going to our first game. I was blown away by the tailgaters, the fans, the game, the band…everything.

It was after that first game that S2 announced that he only wanted to apply to Alabama.

D2 is not a “school spirit” type of girl; also thinks football is stupid (we’re not sure where we went wrong!) although she loves hockey & baseball. She announced this weekend that she’ll never have to go to another HS football game 'cause her sister is no longer around to drag her there…

Bumping up this thread to ask a really silly question. Promise you won’t laugh.

Since we will be sitting so far up in the stadium, I was wondering if it will be colder/windy up there. We’re in NN-7.

We went up the Vulcan statue on a trip to Bham, and I remember it being windy, at least. Since Bryant-Denny is not enclosed, I was wondering if the “nosebleed seats” are in a cold/windy section.

Wondering if we need to bring a windbreaker or some sort of jacket. It will still be early September, so I’m assuming it will be hot still, but I want to be prepared for wind chill factor.

Since it is an evening game, it could get chilly once the sun goes down. I think your seats are facing west, so those seats stay warm for awhile if the sun is out.

You could bring a wind breaker.

However, for games later in the year, the stadium can get cold and breezy.

I believe there are 30 rows in the upper deck sections.
