Parents Weekend~It's So Close!

For some good and fun news~Parents Weekend is less than a week away! Needless to say I am so excited since I have not seen my daughter since Bid Day!! It’s the longest I have ever been away from her and I cannot wait. I wish we were able to stay closer to Tuscaloosa but I know better for next year. I was excited for the events that are planned but after being apart I just want to spend every minute with my girl. Is it strange that I am hoping she has a ton of laundry for me to do while I am there?!? I hope everyone has a great time.

Are the parking passes available yet??!!

They should be able to purchase online. Go to that sticky page and the link should be on there.

Tonight at dinner DD2 stated she wanted to go and see her sister. She claims she had no clue we were going till she heard me tell Nana that she would be keeping her this weekend. Looked up airfare, holy smokes, she is staying home. Oh well, next time I know to include a seat for lil sis to go see big sis.

I’m waiting for the parking passes, too. Gone to that link and still nothing.

What link???

I bet it opens tomorrow morning when “business hours” open.

We still have not received this email others have :(
Will be calling or emailing them tomorrow. I have all of the emails from where we purchased the Parents Weekend packages.

And if anyone wants to invite us to tailgate…

UA Gameday Parking Info

[UA Gameday](http://www.uagameday.com/football/parking-info.php)

Go down to where it says
PUBLIC RESERVED PARKING
then it is the Game Week Parking Pass
Bet a “Click Here” link opens tomorrow on there. Or should. That is how we bought our parking pass last year.

I had an earlier thread about gameday parking, and someone posted a link. Don’t know how to do links, but I google UA Gameday and get to it. I got up early this morning to get my parking pass, and have been checking all day, and still no place to order parking. If anyone can find it, can you please direct us where to do it? Thanks in advance.

I’d also check out the new downtown parking with the shuttles from Tuscaloosa Transit that are operating. There is info on that on the same gameday link. As stated, it is closer than the lots by the soccer fields so you could walk it if you really wanted. Not to mention, you could park, have dinner/lunch/brunch downtown then catch the bus to the stadium. The downtown parking is free of charge and the bus ride is $1 for adults.

How early /late does the shuttle run?

Here is the Tuscaloosa Transit parking info for the downtown parking:

I am not sure about the Crimson Ride shuttles to the UA lots. I know when we walked out after the game the line for the shuttles was LOOOOOOONG! We ended up just walking instead of just standing and waiting.

Weather outlook is night time in high 60’s and day mid-upper 80’s. 10-30% chance of rain.

Just used the link and it says that the parking passes are sold out.

NEVER MIND with that post I just posted! I clicked the wrong button.

Regret that I won’t be able to meet y’all this week. DS is coming back to NY for a family event this weekend. We’ll have parent’s weekend back home. Still hoping to get down for my first game sometime soon.

Is anyone still interested in trying to get together either with our without our students? I had tried earlier to organize a meet up in an earlier thread.

Rolltide90, we are not getting in until later on Friday. I think Saturday is going to be chaos. I doubt many are going to stay until Monday, but we are, and would be up for meeting for a drink maybe later on Sunday if anyone else is.

James Spann says rain likely at times on Saturday, during the day and maybe for the first half of the game. Therefore, I just ordered two packable crimson rain ponchos, guaranteeing no rain now. Y’all can thank me this weekend.

Hmmm, maybe I should order a case of those ponchos to insure no rain :)
