Park/Mudd

I was assigned a room in Park this year. I was hoping for a newer dorm but have heard that the sense of community is much better at Park/Mudd.

Anyone else moving into Park this year?
And does anyone have any input about life at Park?

I stayed in Park for the ArtSci weekend and it was really nice. Also, I’m pretty sure Park is one of the newer dorms (it seemed new at least), so I wouldn’t worry about that.

^ same. Park is REALLY nice. The room I was in was very large and had three huge windows.

Really? I visited Park as well but only saw the first floor with the conference rooms - it seemed old. And the building seems to be the only one with that sort of architecture - all of the others give off that Disney/countryclub vibe.

^Thanks. I did check those out before but was looking for more personal viewpoints from CCers.

id like to know about that too

Yeah Park/Mudd is nice. Most of the people I know who’ve lived there have stayed for 2+ years, so it can’t be too bad! Actually I can’t think of any negatives to it, compared to the other “modern” dorms, except that it’s pretty far from classes. There’s only one freshman dorm that’s really newer, even if the style is a little different. Plus you’ll have music practice rooms and the nicest multipurpose-room on the S40 :)
