I was recently selected to be a semi-finalist for the Park Scholarsip, and I was wondering if anyone had any information about the 30 minute info session before the interview and especially the interview itself, such as how many people conduct the interview, who the people who conduct the interview are, the types of questions they ask, what sort of answers they’re looking for, what the dress code is, etc.
I also was selected to be interviewed and am curious about the questions that will be asked and who will be interviewing us - I am out of state, so I will have a phone interview.
I will ask my son and see if he remembers - he was also OOS. As I recall, the questions are about your application. You can talk in depth about some areas. They are looking for intelligence, passion, and sincerity. Just be yourself, you have already made the first cut which is a huge accomplishment. Relax.
Thank you! It is tomorrow, so if you have any more tips/if your son remembers anything, it would be very appreciated.
Let us know how it went - and what you hear! Good luck!
Hi - could you please provide some information about your semifinalist interview? What was it like, how did it go? Any specific tips? Also, were you selected to be a finalist/Park scholar? Thanks
