Parking at Brown?

<p>I know that Brown won’t allow freshman to have cars on Campus, but I am wondering if they will allow you to rent a parking space in Providence? And aslo, how much they cost?</p>

<p>carrera , dont make the same mistake u made with columbia ed... first get in then worry about the parking...</p>

<p>renting a space in providence is much more expensive than paying for a brown space. parking at brown is a bit of a problem though--it is very limited and there is a lottery system that favors seniority (faculty, then seniors, then juniors, etc.)</p>

<p>it's really not worth it to have a car your freshman year. the public transportation is really good and you won't be living off campus anyway</p>
