Parking at UNC

<p>Hey everyone! I've been on the prowl since summer began for parking spaces around the university and have come up empty-handed. The sophomore permits are completely gone (I didn't purchase one as I was trying to find one withing walking distance). The ones I did find were pricey, which I didn't mind....until they were asking for a payment in full up front which i don't believe in. Does anyone have any idea where I can get a parking spot?? Any info is very much appreciated! </p>

<p>(P.s. not to be rude, but please no suggestions to forget the car and take the bus. I've done the bus for a year and I'm not super impressed. I live in S. FL so if i'm willing to drive a car for 12 hrs, its serious, heh)</p>

<p>a couple of my friends rent from the local churches. check there and see what you find</p>

<p>Do you know any specific ones? I called the one on franklin street and they have a waitlist lol They also would want me to move my car everyday by 5:30 so they can have their spaces at night. Which would be a hassle</p>
