Parking on & off campus

<p>Calling any students and/or parents in the know: How tough is it to have a car at WashU? Is there easy parking on campus? Is there easy off-campus parking near the Loop and other outskirts? Son is lobbying to take the car due to an off-campus extracurricular starting up in the fall, where he'll need to be travelling to & fro.</p>

<p>Any and all information is appreciated.</p>

<p>Freshmen are not allowed to have a car on campus – no exceptions.</p>

<p>Other than that, parking is fairly easy (but expensive). There is some parking north of campus, but parking on campus is generally never a problem.</p>
