Parking Permit at San Nicolas

How does one get a parking permit, I was told that it was around ~300 a year, but is there parking relatively close to San Nic? I know for a fact FT has a huge parking lot, but I ended up getting San Nic so how exactly does it work? Do I apply for it in move in day? Are the parking lots big in San Nic?

There’s a link there for you to apply.

The lot you want is B1 and is pretty small… prepare to pay a lot of money for that lot too ($648 for the academic year!)

i just got my parking permit yesterday. it costs around $400. however it wasnt right next to chi-5. the one that costs around $300 is really far away but if you dont want to pay a lot you can always get that one. Hopefully they still have parking permits available because they were given out on a first-come first-serve basis. good luck!

Hmm I might plan on getting the cheapest permit, thing is, is there always space in the parking lot? Is it generally safe?
