Parking Permit

<p>According the UCI checklist, students that are going to live on campus should wait till they get their housing assignments to get the parking permit. Do the parking permits sell out really quickly because I will be out of the country and won't know my housing assignments till I return?</p>

<p>Also does UCI sell more permits than the parking spaces available? If so, are students with parking permits constantly running out of spaces to park in...</p>

<p>You'll be fine waiting until September to buy a parking permit as they don't sell out. And I've never had a problem finding a parking spot.</p>

<p>Parking isn't too big of a problem at UCI. They got about 4 main structures. Just time what time you get there right and you should be fine. Offering people rides to their cars so that you can have their spot isnt a bad idea either...great way to meet new people ;)</p>
