Hey, I dont think I am going to bring my car there for the first quarter, but I might want to bring it for the second quarter? Can I do that?

And how much are the parking permits, yearly? Thanks!

I am a first year, so I dont even think I'll be needing a car :|

Dorm residents can buy parking permits by the year ($675) or by the quarter ($225); there’s no savings for getting the year-long permit.

Info is here:
[url=<a href=“http://www.parking.uci.edu/permits/studentpermits.cfm]Student ”>http://www.parking.uci.edu/permits/studentpermits.cfm ]Student Parking Permits/url

So it occurs to me that the cost of a dorm parking permit would cover the cost of enrolling in the ZipCar program plus ~80 hours of car use time. Has anyone used ZipCar at UCI?

Did this change? Currently the website says $80/month for residents and doesn’t list a yearly option.

There should be a yearly option in the Fall quarter, and it is still $85/Month without discount.
