I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to Fordham next year, but if I do go, I will have to commute. How is parking on campus, does anybody know? Do cars get treated carelessly and get damaged just sitting there parked (I kinda would like to keep my car damage free)? How bad is trying to find parking?

Thanks.

If you are commuting, you are able to have a parking spot and your car will be fine! There is an incredible diversity of cars parked in the Fordham lots, which is pretty indicative of the school itself. But quite often there are BMW's and Range Rovers and they are scratch free, so I think your car will be just fine. I say that only to indicate that many students and faculty feel fine parking their very nice cars, you should too. Security is no-nonsense and the lots are within the campus gates.

well, actually parking this year will be a mess because the student parking lot has been closed down. They are currently contructing a multi-level parking lot for students and the DMV accross the street. This year it's gonna be tough to find parking on campus. Thats why they are offering incentives like free parking if you carpool.
