<p>I have a friend coming up in a car and I'm not sure where she should put it. She'll be around Thursday night through Monday, so is there some place good to stash it for the weekend? I live in Unit 1.</p>

<p>Your friend will probably have to park a few blocks away. Starting from Friday at 6pm to Monday at 9am, she can park for free in the neighborhood with signs that say parking meters/stickers aren't necessary at 6pm-9am and on the weekend. As for Thursday and Friday, she probably has to pay.</p>

<p>If you can stand to, there are parts of town beyond the city permit limits, and you can park there without much problem.</p>
<p>The major downside is that they are pretty far away from anywhere you'd want to be. But if bringing the car is just how she's getting here rather than how you'll be getting around, it's one of your better free options. The ticketing cops are crazy vigilant, and if you're at ALL disobeying posted times, they WILL ticket you.</p>
