So I got lot 071 (on west campus). It was my third choice. I thought that it would be fine if staying on Northside. But, I was put in a Southside dorm instead.
There is an option to cancel permit assignment. If I did this, could I still be on the wait list for other parking lots?
Another question. Is Lot 100 the parking lot you get if all of your choices are full?

This is from my parking permit assignment email:

If you want to CANCEL your permit assignment and/or wait list assignment(s), or make changes to payment or address information, please visit Error; before noon-July 23.

If you don’t get any lots on your waitlist, you will probably still be able to get a lot 100 permit (rec/reed arena lot). That’s the only guaranteed lot AFAIK.

Overnight parking is not allowed in Lot 100. A West Campus Garage permit (same price as Lot 100) will automatically be substituted for those [on campus] residents who chose Lot 100 during permit registration, since no overnight parking is allowed in Lot 100.

So to get this straight. What you are saying is that if I were to cancel my current parking assignment (which sucks for me dorm location), I would get West Campus Garage for the same price at all the other lots, excluding Southside and Northside Garages?
