@isjunesummer Oh ok. When you applied for Parsons in Commonapp, did you just apply to the New School one?
You only apply to The New School in Common Apps. Then you select schools within The new school tab. I applied to Parsons throught The New School in Common App as a regular decision. I submitted my portfolio and all through Slideroom.
For anyone that’s confused on how to see the admitted students page, there’s someone who posted a step by step on how to get your NetID and password on the first page.
hey guys i could log in but i don’t see congratulations, does that mean i got rejected?
@stacydessa does the Admitted Students tab not appear on your my.newschool.edu page? It says congratulations under Welcome to The New School in the Admitted Students tab. Even if you don’t see it, I’ve read on this thread that people still got in even when the “trick” didn’t work for them.
so i logged in and all i can see is ‘announcements’ and other details, the admitted students tab does not appear.
Does anybody know when they’re releasing official decisions?
On the official website it says emails will be sent out mid-March and letters will be sent out by April 1. So I’m guessing emails will be sent out any day now.

What time did you guys receive your emails? Did you all receive them at the same time? Im wondering if they’re still sending them throughout the day or all at once.
Didn’t get an email yet either. I think they send out the emails at different times. I’m don’t even know if they even send them out the same day or on different days, but I’m hoping the send them all out the same day.
Also if you guys don’t mind sharing, how much did you guys get for merit scholarship??
