Congratulations on the other admissions, those are fantastic schools. I keep hearing SCAD is great; my daughter applied to SAIC also. So far she got 4 admissions, 2 wait lists and 1 rejection, and she’s been remarkably resilient about it all. It’s already clear that Parsons will be her first pick, so that takes the pressure off. What an ordeal this year has been. Thank goodness it’s almost over!

I would think Parsons is one of the hardest to get into, so big congrats to her!! Even better when it’s a top pick :). SCAD is the only one my daughter has seen since it is in the south and she fell in love but, sadly, they gave very little aid and we are aid dependent, unfortunately. Offers have been all over the map!! She also loves SAIC. We shall see!!
And, yes, parts of the journey are thrilling and parts of just overwhelming and then the hardest part - what can we afford?! Lordy.

Anyone who applied in the month of feb/ march? Have you received your decision letters?
We are waiting for FA package/letter. It will be a decisive factor for us. I am wondering if Parsons is more generous for need-based aid, compared with other Art schools? Did anyone get a FA package after RD acceptance?

I did but it only had a scholarship that they already included on my acceptance letter
We also got a scholarship in the acceptance letter. But I think it’s not a final FA package. The letter says it will take 7-10 days for the FA package if we already applied for FAFSA. Thank you,
I hope so, because I received an email with the subject “Financial Aid Notification” so I assumed it’s the final package

Have any transfers heard back yet? Applied a bit early (December) and they said we’d hear back by March/April.
I am a transfer student applicant. Submitted February 22. Decision April 6. Accepted to Parsons Lang BA/BFA (Photography) with merit.

I applied for transfer regular decision and i am still waiting to hear back as well

i am in the same boat. I applied for transfer on march 1st, i check everyday and still nothing 
I called today and they said my application was in the final review process and that they are trying to get it to us by May 1st, but that could even be another two weeks until we hear.
I also applied as a transfer on march 1st, I haven’t heard anything yet aswell.
I just got my decision letter yesterday. I got in as a transfer student with merit!!
