<p>I've applied to Communication design in Parsons and Advertising in SVA, and I've been accepted as a transfer to both schools.
I'm an international student and a really confused one as well!</p>
<p>Any opinions/suggestions regarding which school i should attend would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!</p>

<p>My friend is in the Communication Design program + loves it. Sorry dunno much more than that from her.</p>
<p>I did go to Parsons for their summer program last summer, and it was awesome. Personally I <3'd NYC a lot more than the actual school itself, but that's because I didn't like the fashion dept's attitude. I think it's definitely worth considering for Communication Design though!</p>

<p>yeah i've heard good things about parson's summer program too! but i've also been hearing it's a fashion school more than anything else.. maybe because of project runway...</p>
<p>i am in the same predicament. i am also an international student, got accepted to both parsons and sva. i dont know whether i should go to parsons for communications or sva for advertising. what i have heard about parsons is that it have a better facility, though more fashion and design focus, their help with international student is pretty quick and painless. the atmosphere is competitive knowing that parsons is the leading art school in the country. being that sva is also a leading name college, sva deserves credit for their excellent program. though, no where as famous as parsons, the atmosphere in sva is more calm and like a family, rather than competitive. its hard, because regardless, both school offer great programs.</p>
